Old unfinished graphic

While creating two new graphics for Miss Magazine - I've been hired as a graphic designer - I happened to stumble across an old, unfinished graphic which was ment to be for a comp on the blog Street High Fashion. The arms are way too thin and the technique is - well, smudgy, doge&burn would describe it best.  I was quite surprised when i saw it because I always thought that I never tried long hair until last week, but well, I dod before :D So i wanted to show it to you, I like the background, the rest is old, just like the graphic, and drawn without any reference.

RNTM Backstage Magazine

Hi!

Some time ago, the seventh issue of RNTM Backstage Magazina was released. And guess who the covergirl is?! It's me ^.~ I was as well featured in some other photoshoots inside the magazine and I got interviewed:

Outfit made out of muffins

Task 2 for Stardoll Diamonds was to create an outfit made out of our favourite food. Since I love muffins and chocolate, i decided to wear a chocolate coloured dress with a muffin print on the skirt and a muffin as top. The shoes are random and the hairband obviously consists out of a muffin. Apart from the dress, the graphic is extremely simple and fast-made, apologies for that. if I have enough time, I'll re-do it.

A graphic without shading?!

I guess everyone knows how impottant shading is. For everyone who doesn't: That's how my latest graphic looks without any shading:

(Ignore the "dein", I merged down the layers there)

Not that nice, don't you think? I used a total of 105 layers, of which only 9 are coloured. Those are shown in the picture above. The other 96 layers are only black and white - but really important since it's the shading:

As you see the shading of the blossom is the finest part.

Logo for my German blog TSB

I experimented with some different techniques and the graphic turned out quite good in my opinion :) I am proud of the blossom, I think it is the best part. By the way, it is a tulib since the blog's name is The Stardoll Blossom. What is your opinion of the graphic? It is the first time that I did something with my graphic tablet, although only the text is done with it.
